The Regional Tourism Team have developed the Regional Investment monitor in order to capture significant developments and the impact they will have on the region.
Information is gathered from as many sources as possible including Sub Regional Partners, local Tourism Officers, Planning Applications and any details found in local publications and newspapers.
Only developments that would make a significant impact on the regional tourism product, namely those with a value of more than £100,000 are included.
The two spreadsheets below contain the most up to date known tourism investment in the North East. The first sheet looks at those with a direct impact, i.e. will have an influence on visitors decision to visit the region while the second looks at those which will have an indirect impact, i.e. those that will not directly influence a visit but will enhance the visitors experience while in the region.
Annual reports are also published to capture a snapshot of levels of investment at a specific time. Reports for the last two years can be found below.
If you are aware of any development not included in this list please contact ian.thomas@onenortheast.co.uk with details.
