Regional Occupancy Surveys

The collection of occupancy data for the North East is a vital tool in measuring the performance of tourism in the region. The survey not only gives a regional picture but allows participating businesses to benchmark themselves against competing businesses not only by location but also by categories such as type and tariff.

The hotel occupancy survey is carried out on behalf of the Regional Tourism Team by Lynn Jones Research,  while the Research Solution carry out surveys for B&B/Guesthouses and self catering properties.

The hotel survey also provides participants with the ability to carry out forecasting as well as produce revenue data.
