Northumberland's stunning Doxford Hall Hotel and Spa is set for a new era as current owners Brian and Shirley Burnie decide to move on.
Doxford Hall's history dates back to 1296. It was opened as a luxury hotel and spa in 2008 after extensive restoration was required to make it habitable again after it had fallen into disrepair.
The Hotel now boasts impressive function suites for weddings and corporate events, a fine dining restaurant and the highest levels of accommodation. The extensive spa and leisure club boasts a swimming pool, sauna, steamrooms and spa baths. And with beautiful formal gardens including a large yew tree maze, it's a perfect base from which to explore the breathtaking scenery of Northumberland and the Scottish Borders.
New owners, Robert and Gina Parker, are longstanding hotel proprietors and have ambitious plans for Doxford Hall including investing in the county's economy by sourcing locally and preparing it to be Northumberland's first Michelin Star Restaurant.
Mr Parker said: "Brian Burnie has done an amazing job with the creation of Doxford Hall and every aspect of it has been finished with stunning attention to detail".
