A recent article on Travel Mole reports that 'cruising is attracting a record number of families'.
This is good news for the Cruise Market as more than '75,000 under 18 year olds are expected to take a cruise holiday this year, a seven fold rise over the last decade".
The forecast came as part of the Passenger Shipping Association's annual cruise review which found that one in ten package holidays booked is now a cruise - totalling 1.53 million last year and forecast to rise to 1.65 million in 2010. This figure is more than double the number of UK cruise passengers a decade ago and is predicted to rise to two million by 2014.
