Keeping Stakeholders Informed

An important aspect of the Network's role is to engage with key regional and sub-regional stakeholders, or "Associates".

Network Associate organisations are major regional and sub-regional organisations that are not primarily tourism organisations but whose activities can and do have a significant impact on the region's visitor economy. They fall into five general categories:

• Government & Sub Regional Partnerships
• Cultural, Environmental & Sport Organisations
• Business Organisations
• Transport Organisations
• Education & Training Organisations

To enable this activity, there are twice yearly Associate briefings in March and September, to which all Associate organisations are invited to attend.
